About Aksel Gresvig
Aksel Gresvig is a heritage revived. A modern ski apparel brand inspired by the pioneering spirit of Knut’s great-grandfather, Aksel Gresvig. As a young boy, Knut grew up hearing stories about Aksel’s drive, courage, and entrepreneurial passion. Aksel was a world-class cyclist who later built one of Norway’s most influential sporting enterprises, always believing that great equipment and true dedication could elevate the sport.
Today, that legacy continues with Knut Gresvig and Nanna Rein Barstad. Two creators with deep roots in fashion, sportswear, and Scandinavian design. Knut brings over 20 years of experience in apparel and brand development, while Nanna has spent 15 years designing high-performance fashion and sportswear known for its technical precision and refined aesthetics.
United by a shared passion for mountain culture and timeless design, and as family friends from just outside of Oslo, they set out to reinterpret Aksel’s vision for a new era.
The result is a collection that merges Norwegian heritage, early alpine elegance, and modern technical innovation. Ski apparel crafted for those who value precision, authenticity, and a clear sense of identity.
